Taking the time to slow down, discover your purpose, and live in the moment can be revolutionary! So, Alicia is here to walk you through her Mindful Morning Rituals to help you start each day off on the right foot!
A mindful morning ritual can be a valuable start to your day. A good morning routine can attract positive energy to your day. While reducing stress and negativity. If you would like to learn the three mindfulness morning rituals that will transform your day toward positive, productive energy, keep reading!

Energy is everything. Many brilliant people have recognized 2 important things.
- We attract our own realities.
- We become a product of what we think about.
Which is why mindfulness is so important!
Instead of living in a stressful environment where you stub your toe out of bed, spill coffee on your shirt in the car, then get behind a slow truck and become late for work, you can choose the latter!
The vibration you send out into the universe comes back to you. Some call it karma, others call it luck. But, it is not accidental. It’s the universe listening to your vibrations and sending it back to you.
The research on mindfulness and energy, all made sense to me. I read the bestselling book, The Miracle Morning, and became even more inspired to change my lifestyle. I became more mindful of what type of thoughts and vibration I was putting out there. This led me to discover the THREE mindfulness morning rituals that transformed my day.

3 Mindful Morning Rituals That Will Transform Your Day
Below you will find three mindfulness morning rituals that I do every morning. They calm, motivate and inspire me to be my best self.
Wake with Grate!
Have you ever heard a song first thing in the morning & it stuck in your head for the rest of the day? That’s because your mind is in its most relaxed state first thing when you wake. This creates a mind that is open & receptive to emotional energy and vibrations.
The first thing you do in the morning will impact your day the most. Make sure you are intentional with these choices.
The first ritual I choose to do is “wake with grate.”
Grate…(full)! Every morning before your feet touch the floor, think or say three things you are grateful for. This will start your day with a positive and thankful outlook on life. This practice will also promote a strong sense of mindfulness throughout your day.
Gratitude is the most powerful emotion we can feel aside from love! Use it often and wisely.

Meditate
The next step in my mindful morning routine is meditation.
People think mediating is much harder than it really is. In college, I tried to meditate, I would light some sandalwood and put on a meditation DVD. I thought I needed to clear my head of all thoughts for it to be effective.
This is not what it takes to meditate every day. I mean, sure… A Buddhist monk on his way to enlightenment may be able to achieve this state. But this is not the precise goal of daily mediation.
For me, mediation is a way to calm and slow the mind. It allows me to be mindful and intentional about my day.
My morning ritual consists of 5-15 minutes (depending on how much time I have), to quiet my mind and place intentional energy into my space. I do this by finding a quiet place and sitting or laying in a relaxed position. I listen to calming music and place palms upward allow the body to be open to receive information and energy.
It’s important to focus on your breathing, taking deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth. Thoughts WILL come, as will outside noises from your environment. You should acknowledge the noise and distractions, but allow them to pass like clouds floating in the sky.
I use mediation to relax my mind and body, reduce stress, increase concentration, and develop a stronger relationship with myself. There are a ton of benefits to meditation. No matter if you’ve never mediated before or are a pro, I suggest incorporating mediation into your morning ritual.

Use Positive Affirmations
The final ritual to kick starts my day is using positive affirmations.
Affirmations are short statements that “affirm” a truth about yourself or your life. I use affirmations every morning to develop confidence and place intention into my day.
We have thousands upon thousands of thoughts each day. From the moment we wake, our minds are racing about tasks, commitments, and other duties we need to carry out.
My morning affirmation statements change every single day and can be created in the moment. I keep a notebook filled with affirmations I have used that I can reference in the moment.
Think of things your struggling with, areas you need to improve or achievements you want to focus on when saying my affirmations.
My morning ritual consists of saying my affirmations in the shower since it’s my private space, but you can say it anywhere. It’s even a great exercise to do with your kids!
Make sure you say them aloud and with conviction.
Here were my affirmations I used this morning:
- I am a strong, confident, beautiful women.
- I am so lucky to live such an amazing life.
- Today, I will be productive with my actions.
- I am going to live this day to the fullest.
- I will take care of my body and mind today.
